Ay’sha Dunn
A distinguished Master Educator in cosmetology, celebrated makeup artist, accomplished industry leader and our President and founder of the IN’DAZUR Cosmetology and Barbering Association of Missouri. She champions professional standards and continuing education for beauty practitioners statewide. Miss Dunn is also recognized as a certified trailblazer educator by Milady in the year of 2022. Alongside this vital role, President Dunn served as Program Director at Vatterott College, shaping the next generation of cosmetology professionals through her unwavering commitment to artistry and education.

MELANIE BLACKWELL
Born and raised in the vibrant city of St. Louis, Melanie Blackwell has already carved a remarkable path. A talented multi-hyphenate, she seamlessly balances her professional life with her creative passions.
By day, she excels as a highly organized and efficient secretary and project manager, demonstrating exceptional skills in CSM, bookkeeping, computer software, managing complex scheduling and much more. Her commitment to excellence and meticulous attention to detail make her an invaluable asset in any setting.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Melanie's creative spirit shines. She's a sought-after party planner, known for her ability to transform any event into a memorable experience. Her keen eye for design, innovative themes, and flawless execution have earned her a reputation for creating unforgettable celebrations.
Adding another layer to her impressive resume, Miss Blackwell is also a skilled cosmetologist. She has a natural talent for enhancing beauty and helping others feel confident. Her clients appreciate her artistry, professionalism, and dedication to providing exceptional service.

Pres. SHERRI
Dr. Thomas brings experience in consulting, business marketing, coordinating large events such as fashion shows, community service events, mini concerts, and luncheons. She has strong interpersonal skills, facilitator for nonprofits with core competencies in strategic planning and (DE&I) diversity, equity & inclusion training. Dr. Thomas has led numerous organizations. Dr. Thomas has had the opportunity to model professionally in Europe and the United States over several years for popular designers, European department stores and various agencies ( ie. Designer Louis Vuitton in Paris, Carl Lagerfeld, Hugo Ferdinand Boss etc) and several magazines.
Dr. Thomas, has a M.S. Degree in Holistic Nutrition, D.Sc Degree, Intregrative Healthcare, licensed Cosmetologist and Certified Licensed Instructor in two States Missouri and California for over 33 years, Certified Trichologist, Hair Prosthetic’s and Perruquier’s. Dr. Thomas is well a rounded individual able to coordinate presentations and present them. She has served on several committees as Sergeant of Arms, Assistant Administrator, vice president and member. She’s also in the 493 and 706 IATSE (makeup artist & hairstylist Guild). With this experience she is proud to serve as Vice President of InDazur CBA Of Missouri.

Cherice Walker
Ms.Walker has been licensed cosmetologist since 2004, became an instructor in 2006 and crossover barber in 2010. Since that time, she has built her career in hair as a prolific educator and advocate of student knowledge base of all areas of the business side of the beauty world. After sharpening her financial literacy skills, she is now assisting, enhancing & uplifting small business owners with interest bearing accounts and providing grant information. We’re glad to have her as a board member as treasurer.
